All ape boy has to do is speak hastily in an incomprehensible accent and he should be all right.

I kinda feel sorry for the other horse, which Tarzan apparently left in the jungle as cat food.

Luckily, Tarzan knew the direction to travel to the exact fort he needed to go to.

As a “corporal” in the legion d’etranger he should have known to use the European salute (palm outward) not the American (palm inward, and facing down) version

When Tarzan gets his man and leaves he will be pursued as the deserting “Corporal Shea”.

The guards, who betwixt them had but five active neurons, welcomed the apeman into the imposing fortress with open arms, for regardless of his corpse-ish odor, outlander accent, and purely ludicrous pretext, he was, after all, a Euro-extracted Caucasian and therefore to be trusted as a good and honest soul.
