Oh, the laps are accessible… you just have to be persistent.

Are you a cat or what? You need to remind your lowly humans of WHO is in charge there!

Can’t you nudge Jimbo awake and ask him to move his arms so you can crawl onto his lap?

Snuggle between Rose’s elbow and hip. That would be warm and cozy too.

Meanwhile, take a seat on the floor there!

They only want to be in the laps because the humans don’t necessarily want them there right now. As soon as the humans signal that they want to cuddle a kitty, they will decide it’s time to eat…

Do we have a new kitty in the strip?

How about a high spot on top of Jimbo’s head.

Nice way to hog their laps for the Gumbos.

I have to say, it takes some real talent to make all of the laps in the house filled at the same time – and none of them filled by a cat.
