Not very many options there. (I’d personally go with the vegetable stock if he’s making something not with beef.)

Left out the seafood stock for my clam chowder.

Keep the beef. Gimme the rest.

In case you didn’t know – and to answer the question before it even comes up – stock has more flavor (if you need that) than broth.

Prefer the soup base from a container that you mix yourself. This way you can mix the stock you make to your taste :-)

Once opened, don’t these need to be refrigerated?

Once opened they should be refrigerated to maintain freshness. Best to use all at once. And not stored near heat no matter their open/closed state.

My shelf is wider than that. It’s 3 feet wide. That’s right, it’s my stockyard shelf. ;-)
