Living abroad can drive you nuts. Especially, the microaggressions associated with living in Japan. It’s healthy to make time to vent your frustrations. Mom has it down to a science.
The Japanese are courteous, hard working, respectful of authority, and very intelligent. Education is very important to them. We could learn from them. (I do understand cultural frustrations having spent some time in Germany!)

One of my favorite things was learning that the word all the bad Karate movies translate as “Master” (Sensei) actually means TEACHER.
