My husband and I do this all the time. We remember when this or that cost far less and wish it still did.

I can remember when the cost for a decent lunch was a whole lot less than $5! And it wasn’t that long ago either.

I remember, “Two hamburgers, fries, a shake, and change back from your dollar.”

Wow. That’s gotta cut into the shoe budget.

Boy that sandwich got a heck of a lot bigger after she sat down.

When I first worked at Big Donut Drive-In (now Randy’s Donuts), donuts were $1/dozen (50¢/half-dozen).
