Once upon a time there was a duplex where a young bachelor named Eno and his dog, Fang, shared an ultra-macho haven of beer snacks and male-bonding. Suddenly, their lives turned co-ed when Gina and her poodle, Mitzi, moved into the other half of their building… the question is, who will come out on top in Glenn McCoy’s The Duplex?
woowie, the description comicgos provided accurately describes the original conceit behind the strip, but these days it’s almost purely “The Eno and Fang Show.” Gina and Mitzi still put in an occasional appearance, and once in a great while McCoy will do a splitscreen gag showing the two human/dog pairings taking different approaches to a similar situation. But mostly “The Duplex” is “Barney Google and Snuffy Smith”, with Gina being Barney Google. Or “Mother Goose & Grimm”, with Gina being Mother Goose. Or “Adam@home”, with Gina being Adam’s job…

Eno should argue that he’s doing cardio. His heart rate should be up, among other things.
