    I used to remember when I was a kid and my parents would take me out to the country just to see the skies at night…now most of those places have been taken over by urban growth and you can’t see them as well…

    When we can see them undimmed by the artificial glare of lights they are a stupendous sight.

    unless there’s a blackout in the city in the background, it’s impossible to see that many stars anywhere near an urban area.
