It’s a truism among professional photographers that people who ask them what camera they used to get a great shot should learn that it’s the skill of the operator that really counts, not the equipment.
I gave up golf years ago, but one time hitting at a driving range I was on fire and every one of my drives were going straight down the range. My friend, who had taken lessons, asked me if I normally slice and I said yes. He said that I hit with a baseball bat swing. I cocked my wrist back and then try to compensate on my downswing. He was right, I did play a lot of baseball growing up. However, for the rest of the night I could only hit slices.

The only time I hit my drive straight is when I allow for my slice.
