Never been to Little Havana in Miami, but I went to Havana Cuba this past winter. Very depressing, the people get by on $30 a month, if you somehow make a little on the side the government takes 70%. Sure housing, health care, and education are all provided, but the people are not happy. With Venezuela failing the source of cheap oil is drying up so the future looks even bleaker for Cubans.
