Steaks were cooked well done at home when I was growing up. Parents couldn’t understand why I’d order a cheeseburger when we went out to eat. Thought that’s the only way they were cooked. Now I know!! Rare please.
Just Moooo it by the heat a bit and I am good. My mom and b/f say if I start eating my steak any rarer I will just be eating tartar all the time lol. It seams the older I get the rarer I like my red meat. Just cant stand it without red in it. First time I ate at my b/f’s parents his dad grilled the steaks and I could have swore he gave me a charcoal pattie instead, and poor b/f thought that was normal. lol I now have my b/f eating medium rare steaks and loving it and realising hey meat actually has FLAVOR!
The redder the better. How else are you gonna get a nice plateful of blood to run your steak fries and roll through. Yuuuuuum Yuuuuum!! Just drink any that is left over.

I always order medium because I know if it’s undercooked or overcooked, it won’t be by too much.

That is NOT blood. Cattle are hung up and drained of all blood before being butchered. That’s meat juices~!!!
