One of the news networks had a story last week—we humans are now growing small horns at the area in back where our skulls join our necks…and the reason is holding our heads down while operating our cellphones. Weird, huh?
Decades ago, Mad Magazine had an article about changes in people’s bodies due to modern conveniences (inconveniences), such as scar tissue built up on fingers because of pop-top cans, “wallet waddle” because of over-stuffed wallets, and things like that. When satire and parody become real…..
I get a crick in my neck from trying to hold it at a distance that allows me to see it, while simultaneously trying to hold it at an angle that doesn’t cover the screen with reflection. Shadows are my friends!
Soon they will have contact lenses that place a computer screen in front of your eyes so you can stand straight up as you walk distractedly into a lamp post.

having surgery for a torn retina, will have to keep a head down posture for nine days. Will NOT take up texting as a way to pass the time.
