Alright-some one illuminate this for for me.

Bed is for exactly two activities—sleeping and sex. Do your reading in another room. Making your spouse or significant other try to sleep with a light on harms both their sleep hygiene and yours.

Well, I’ve heard those type of novel described as “bodice rippers”. Maybe Janis wants to have Arlo try that out?

Isn’t she reading on a tablet so the lights are out?

Looks like Janice just read something in her “romance” novel about just where Arlo learned that little trick! ;o)

He may not be romance novel material, but he’s all yours and he adores you.

I’m always up for some creative role playing.

I’ve heard that theory as well. Nevertheless, I have been reading myself to sleep quite successfully for several decades and don’t expect to change. Walking to bed from another room wakes me up. My spouse doesn’t come to bed until I am almost done reading. Shocking though it may be, different approaches work best for different people.

I can’t read in bed or watch tv. Not a habit I want to get into.

Arlo would be upset with himself for sleeping through the elusive “right moment”… if he found out.

One again Arlo fails to meet Janis’ expectations.

Just pounce! He’ll enjoy it!

Do I really have to point out that an ereader IS a light? Try using one in dark room.
