I have a lot of high school students that run out to get tattoos. Some wait till they are 18 but most get some guy to do it under the table in very unsanitary places. Most do it now because they think they look cool. I tell them about the tramp stamp thing but they don’t believe it. One girl yesterday told me she was going to get one and have it removed when she gets 30. Kids don’t understand permanent.
I never had tattoos, smoked, drank nor used foul language. Nor did I ever try drugs. My brother and I were the most fortunate kids there ever was. My parents were uneducated Ozark hillbillys with high Christian moral standards. They never did these things and it rubbed off on my brother and me. I never heard my parents argue. Luckly, my three daughters and my brother’s son and daughter have followed our example.
Hmmm, I’m an old grandma with tattoos (2, planning the 3rd) – all my kids have them (as do their spouses), and the older grandkids are starting up. And they’re all beautiful!
My two do not fit either of your points: One is my pride in my college and my degree. The other one shows my pride in my ancestry (very colorful as is my ancestry. German, Irish, Scottish, Bulgarian, Ukrainian, Polish.)

Junior: Why did you get a tatto of a SCUD missile on your butt?
Mom: It was a cute butterfly before gravity took over.

I got one that says, “I’m going to regret this when I’m older”.
I suggest a young man get his current girl’s name tattooed in a prominent place. Good conversation piece in 20 years.

Rule of thumb for getting tattoos ….only kids or pets names!

Remember when you had to be really drunk and on shore leave to do this to yourself?

How small would the needles have to be to avoid popping the ant?!

I do not want the tattoos on my flesh skins and also, I do not want the needle poking on my flesh skins very sharply. NO WAAAYYY!
