Ain’t nature grand? I always get a kick watching bluejays hiding acorns around the yard, pulling an oak leaf over the spot, looking around as they orient it’s location for future reference. And, of course, knowing there will be new oak trees sprouting here and there come spring. Unfortunately, they also sometimes hide the unsalted peanuts still in the shell that I put out for them and the woodpeckers, as well. :-)
