What do people with mouths need?

You could drive a truck through that mouth.

And people with a big mouth scream very loudly, right, Lucy?

People with big stomachs should maybe eat less food (I speak from experience).

Do they need more food? No. Do they want and get it? Often.

That explains why I am so tired all the time and never get enough sleep, I have big eyes too!

I woke up every hour or so, all night long. Wouldn’t be so bad but I didn’t fall asleep at all till after 2 AM.

The first panel alone is relatable.

Was Lucy insinuating something about Charlie Brown?

I never really noticed Lucy’s big eyes.

A little too scientific for me, Lucy! It makes sense, but somehow I doubt it.

Looking for excuses for sloth and gluttony while indulging in wrath.

Compared to other mammals, humans require very little sleep. Most other mammals get 10 to 14 hours. Adult humans do well on 7 to 8.

If this was being drawn today, you would have Lucy spouting some stat from the internet to back her theory that people with big eyes need more sleep…

Haven’t I seen her in Congress? With faulty logic like that…..

I know she’s got a big mouth, but her eyes look beady to me

And for the look of this, people with big mouths needs to scream instead to speak like civilized creatures.

What about people with big noses

Hate to tell you, Lucy…4 hours for me is sleeping in.

I have a small bed, so I need to stay in it longer to get the same amount of sleep.

Lucy: always willing to share her dearth of information.

If her mouth was taped or clamped shut what would we have to complain about?

No Lucy, people with big stomachs really need less food and we know it. We just like to eat.

10 hours? Must be nice ! I’ve been getting by on 4 hours a day / night for years now. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, though.

It’s a medical fact that Lucy is out of her mind.

She is more likely to have a big mouth.
