Our local high school has had an ongoing prank about “the swimming pool on the 4th floor”. Most Freshmen get “hazed” by this harmless joke. It’s so old that a grandmother I know, when I told her about how my older daughter didn’t fall for it, said, “Geesh…they’re STILL doing that? That was going on when I went there!” Anyway, at this year’s Freshman Open House, they actually announced over the intercom, “The swimming pool on the 4th floor doesn’t exist.”
One year I was assigned a locker in the same hallway as the Trades were taught – down in the basement. Unfortunately a lot of the troglodytes of the school hung out there. Because they were next to the Trades classrooms, they had access to tools. One day I went down to get something out of my locker and the little creeps had taken the door off my locker – I didn’t have anything stolen but it made me mad enough to march into the principal’s office and demand I be moved . At first they tried to tell me “not to let the boys bug you”, even though I had proof of zero door. Our principal was also a grade A moron. I reminded him my mother ran the cafeteria at the high school and wasn’t all that far away at the moment. I got moved. Didn’t like to play the mother card but it was useful against the sexist jerk card.

How many floors does the school have? If two floors, excluding the freshmen, they no more than 200 students.
Small school.
