When you block your workforce, you are impeding your own profits.

As an electronics tech/compsci grad, I have to say this:

No industrial robot is programmed for actual conversation. They may have canned verbal responses for specific situations, but they only say or do what they are very specifically programmed for. AIs are not used in such situations, because, currently, they are prohibitively expensive and unnecessarily complex for such tasks.

Also, arguing with a machine is pretty stupid.

Also, if you own the business, get out of the way of the people and/or things responsible for your profits, dummy.

The Japanese did this in the 1990’s but quickly changed their minds when they saw what it did to business and to the workers. Made them pariahs. So they switched back to humans with only minimal robots for some heavy lifting and for very dangerous work. Things worked out better then for everyone.

It would be interesting to see how many drugs those robots buy from the company.

Aren’t the owner of a company and the CEO different people?
