I guess “Sounds of Silence” by Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel won’t do.

Give Bob a fiver, he’ll clam up.

    Alternately, ask for 4’33"

Andy could ask him for a solo, so low we can’t hear him.

Ha. Could have said the old one, “Could you please sing Far Far Away?”

Bob gets no respect. And he may earn it too.

Bob will sing you a song for a fiver. For a tenner he won´t.

Guitar Bob wouldn’t be asked to play there if he was that bad.

    Sounds like a reasonable request.

Reminds me of a bar in was in a LONG time ago. There was a four piece band and the lead guitar was also a “singer.” The crowd was pretty much ignoring them and the singer made a fatal mistake. He asked if there were any requests and one guy who’d had at least one too many — enough, anyway to make him very honest — said, “Play the juke box.”
