Maybe she stocked up your refrigerator while she was in town! Maybe she cleaned and hauled in a load of wood. Maybe she’s still faking and sleeping in your bed.
I do like Rufus (well-meaning) and Joel (country-wise) … but this story is dragging along as fast as that cart moves! If not some conclusion, let’s at least see some action in this plot!!

We’re into the seventh straight month of Joel and Rufus storylines. I guess I should be thankful that at least it’s not a ‘Cousin Chubby’ story.

Yes, Joel has returned. The friendly, pipe-smoking sage adds so much more to the comic. Rufus should appreciate him more.
