Humor but sadly there are no politicians who serve the interest of the people. PACs, lobbyists, special interests, criminal syndicates own them. They have their own set of rules that line their pockets. Oh sure there are a few clueless incompetents that add levity to the daily grind but they all can’t be Jay Inslee…….
It’s a lectern, not a podium. One stands AT or BEHIND a lectern, but ON a podium AKA a dais. This dialog is an example of truly sloppy English. Shame on Brookins and MacNelly.
