That’s quite a big brick.

That gets delivered right before the first back-to-school commercials on TV.

Teachers don’t have to remind students that summer isn’t forever. That’s what all those Back-to-school commercials are for.

Mr. and Mrs. Marshall McLuhan at home. A brick flies through a closed window, glass fragments stay everywhere.

Mrs.— What was that?!

Mr.— A brick. There’s a note tied to it.

Mrs.— What’s the message?

Mr.— The brick.

Just another brick from the wall.

“This is your one-month warning!”

I’ve heard of getting hit by a ton of bricks, but never a ton of brick!

This is how I pictured everyone on Game of Thrones knew Winter was coming.

For some, school re-opens just after mid-August. So vacation time is indeed short.

But was there some malicious intent behind that message? It coulda hurt our star!

When I was a kid in the 1960s I HATED when network television showed its fall lineup in JULY! I didn’t need that morbid reminder of school coming.
