@Number Three , Today’s strip IS funny our Hero Mr Andrew Capp and Flo find that watching the idiot box is a good way to lull you to sleep :o) right? , my avatar is of Mrs Goliath calling at David’s house to complain about offing her hubby , how was your day ? ours should be busy but not hectic like tomorrow will be , thanks for caring pal.
That sums up modern TV. Well, 90% of it. It really is the best of times and the worst of times. Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad to Pawn Stars and Here Comes Honey Boo-Boo
“…..the moment you’ve been waiting for – another chance to see the repeat of yesterdays re-showing of last week’s catch-up of the previous week’s load of rubbish.”
This was us several years ago at the last time we watched the “Oscars”. It was so boring and pathetic, we never watched again. Same way with all of the award shows. What a bunch of garbage.
This is basically my reaction to award shows like the Oscars and the Emmys. Big Deal! Most of the awards go to movies and TV shows I haven’t seen and wouldn’t watch at all, so who cares!?

I wonder how many couples still share their evenings sitting in a couch in front of the TV. I do envy Andy.

Don’t they have modern flat-screen TVs in Britain instead of this antique box that Andy and Flo are watching?
