Well it works for Earl and style is not his thing ;-)

It’s so stupid it might become a huge fashion trend!

Letter carriers did that for years. Summer uniforms at one time were Bermuda shorts and knee socks.

He should wear a caftan like the Arabs. Much cooler.

Earl needs to be left alone. So what if he looks like a dork! It’s his choice….

But no one else enjoys it, Earl.

Duh, if he wore long pants he’d have double coverage up to his knees (with the socks), much cooler this way

I wear a kilt whenever possible. (not really, just wishing)

Shorts that go to your knees, or beyond, are not shorts.

Sylvia, why do you wear your long pants and then roll them up to your knees? Why not just wear shorts?

uh, why not? is instagram offended? will Facebook ban me? will twitter begin tweeting? are the neighbors calling the police? do I really care???????? besides my knee dimples are cute so I fashionably focus on them :)

Considering some of the clothing options people wear these days, Earl is just fine. In fact, he may be starting a new fad!

I do what Earl is doing because I need support stockings for long walks.
