I imagine Adam in that thing filled with coffee would be reminiscent of an old “Wizard of Id” strip where the jester fell into a big wine vat. One character asked, “Is he OK?” and the reply was “Seems to be — he’s gotten away from his rescuers three times.”

And this one shouldn’t break open from the height of the water inside much like the previous year’s home-made one. Look back to 2017 or 2018 in the summer strips where Adam made a deep pool by gluing 8-10 kiddie pools together and cutting out all the bottoms except the bottom-most kid pool. Almost worked ….
