In all reality , Tiki’s residency situation might have just çhanged ? Is he moving in with the Groundskeeper at the Milford Country Club , inquiring minds want to know .
P1, Are you implying that we snarkers also owe Gil one for all the grief we continue to give him, Hadley?
P2, It’s even more fun to twerk the school board.
P3, We’re number one? Or is this where Tiki announces that the Thorp’s are adopting him and then shortly thereafter he is never seen or heard from again?
Changed? Good. That means bending and twisting the spirit of the law won’t be necessary to get what you want and you won’t have to ask your boyfriend to misuse his status in the community.
P1 – You literally cannot hold a glass like that. If your fingers are encompassing less than half the circumference of the glass, it’s instantly falling onto the floor.
P2 – Señor Jansen makes an appearance.
P3 – For a microsecond as I was focusing on this panel I thought someone was giving the finger. Sadly, no.
And speaking of sad, I’ll be sad if you don’t read today’s sad attempt at humor at Mopped Up Thorp: https://moppedupthorp.wordpress.com/
Oh good, his residency status changed. That means they gave up the apartment, he has no legitimate claim to attend Milford, so no sense pursuing this. So we can go to the CC for the rest of the summer and see how Kyrie is doing.
If you check out the colorized version, Hadley’s skin is pretty pale. But her left arm, in P3, is super tanned. She must do a lot of driving while resting that arm out the window.
Well, it looks like GoComics is once again trying to discourage our snarking. It didn’t work before and it won’t work now!
P1, So Tiki becomes the brother’s brother?
P2, But. . . But where will the slow sister live?
P3, Okay, I know I’m old and have some arthritis but there’s just no way I can hold my hand like Hadley is and have my thumb point down like that. Anybody else?
And if they can’t afford it, what’s the big deal with the letter from the school board? Knowing that they were giving up the apartment, Tiki shouldn’t have cared what the school board said.
I know fellow GilPa fans are frustrated with IT services today. May I suggest tripping back to 7/30 & 7/31/18 when all was well. CJ in fact stated he was as happy as a little girl.
Going back to the red, white, and blue basketball comments for one second. We never got our first color TV until 1968, so for years we didn’t know the AFL refs were wearing red and white striped shirts instead of the traditional black and white.
Uh, the only reason that Gil allowed Tiki to play on the team was that he was being bullied; otherwise playing him would be unseemly, unsporting, unethical, etc. Thus that whole plot line with the film kid/punter. With the bullies having graduated [?!?], why would Gil allow Tiki to game the system? (Also, didn’t Tiki lead the Valley in penalty flags and is getting burned in 7 v. 7?)
So based on the July 22nd strip, Hadley will somehow exploit a loophole in the letter that Tiki got from the School Board. I’m curious how unrealistic this tactic of hers will be. Any lawyers on here ready to call out what surely wouldn’t work in real life?
And speaking of unrealistic, it’s unrealistic for you to have to wait for GoComics to get today’s strip up before you can read today’s installment of Mopped Up Thorp.
In all reality , Have no fear Hadley is here and is preparing a lawsuit against Go Comics for their violation of our freedom of speech. She is seeking punitive damages of $10,000,000 to be divided amongst the loyal snarkers of Gil Thorp .
Today’s edition of Milford Masterpiece Theatre, a Quinn Martin Production at azcentral, JaQuan loathes the dinner conversation with Dad Baxendale, who continues to remind me of Del Bader’s solvents customer. Dad implies once The Don retires, he will become bored with nothing to stimulate him, while Hadley continues to chase ambulances.
C’mon Snark Nation! Let’s surpass triple digits this morning!
7/23 strip – Wait, the Baxendales live in Central City? Then Hadley shouldn’t have been attending Milford either. Unless they moved after she graduated? But that makes no sense, nobody of any character moves to Central City.
And who are these other people at the dinner party? Who are ignoring the stupid argument going on where dad pulls out more stupid logic? Is that BStatWhiz in P2, eating some bizzare yellow round thing?
Still Groundhog Day here — thank goodness for MUT, so we can know what’s really going on. And the colorized version too. I think we’re going to set a number of comments record!
…meanwhile, at Milford CC, the Ladies 9 holers start their usual Tuesday grind. Gil helps where he can, showing these neophytes the importance of proper ball, shaft and bag selection…Sorry, don’t normally do blue but I’m Thorp blocked due to this capricious and arbitrary action by GoComics staff. Would they do this to Rex Morgan or Steve Canyon?
I’m trying to figure out whose comment is stupider. Mr. Ed’s point that it’s dumb to get married because Jaquan will retire while Hadley is still working, or Jaquan’s reply that he isn’t “retiring from life”? And speaking of which is stupider, Mopped Up Thorp is always in the running.

P4- Tiki: I’m going to crash at my teammate Leonard Post Toasties house.

Cliffhanger Saturdays are the most riveting days of all. Much better than the Rehash Mondays with slightly reworded dialog.

It would be fun to see Hadley Velma get scolded by a judge and thrown out of a hearing for pursuing such a trivial matter and wasting the courts time
