OMG! I was just listening to some old Sons of the Pioneers songs . . . and Eddy Arnold’s "Cattle Call . . . and Vaughn Monroe’s “Ghost Riders in the Sky” . . . “Along the Santa Fe Trail” . . . that’s what comes of growing up in the southwest . . .
Per a chuckwagon dinner we went to in Estes Park, beans, biscuits, and coffee were about all cowboys ingested on the trail. The same was true for soldiers at Fort Laramie, resulting in much desertion (as learned there the next day). I wondered how many of the deserters decided to become cowboys.

Just wait a while, they’ll share, but you will probably want to be in the barn anyway.
