Plastic bag, rubber bands and medical tape, and you can at least splash in the surf. It’s what I had to due when my left arm had a cast from the elbow to the knuckles.
Sharks really don’t like our taste. We just keep fooling them by our motions that we are their normal prey. For a shark they have this automatic impulse to bite down and swallow anything. Hundreds of millions of years of evolution perfecting the optimum in their kind of predation.
