Aww, the babies have a new “mom”!

Poor Spud. That almost happened to me a few years back. I was getting the hose and at the last second saw a strand of web going from the hose reel to the top of the awning and it was covered in hundreds of baby spiders. It was like a line of leaf cutter ants, one after the other more than 6 feet long. Spud is much more calm than I was and I didn’t have the spiders on me!

Eeeeew! Spider babies!

Stop, drop, and roll, Spud! STOP DROP AND ROLL!

I did something similar, except I walked into Hundreds of spider webs, and had Thousands of spider babies on me. I ran to the ladies restroom and stripped to my skivvies. When my heart started beating again, I thrashed my clothes on the floor for the next hour.

Oh! I HATE SPIDERWEBS!

As Spud faints and falls to the ground the last thing he sees is the nest of baby snakes he’s heading for.

That third panel is awesome! Makes me want to go for a walk in the woods .

Poor little spiders. Most are harmless. I’d take a dozen of them over a swarm of mosquitoes or black flies, any day.
