Wonder what Sam and Sedine are going to think when they look out their window in the morning and there’s Hubb’s truck parked out front?

“No Shape to Drive” he says after driving all the way there. Shouldn’t we be angry he drove drunk with our precious Ellie in the car? She could have been hurt, Hubbs on the other hand could probably walk away from even a plane crash.

That’s a lot of couch to hold all that Hubbs, bet now Ellie wishes she sprung for the pull out! XD

It’ll be funny when he wakes up with a hangover, I predict Sedine will be her usual loud self.

At least she drove, and not him. He admits he can’t, and didn’t and won’t. So there are some smarts up there. But Ellie should have just called a cab, not try to drive his truck. One beer she was probably okay, legally. She still appeared lucid in the last panel. My wife and I take turns. One of us is always the designated driver or we call a cab to take us out and back home.

He’s going to wake up and see Ow and know he’s at Ellies.

Slip into a negligee, wallow all over him and in the morning when he wakes with a hella hangover, tell him he must have been having a dream.

Since Hubbs can’t wake up to the fact that “Al” is not a man, maybe he will talk in his sleep. It may be his only hope. Listen close: “Ellie…love of my life. I so wish to tell you how I feel…zzz.”

Hubbs is smart enough to know he’s in no shape to drive. He’s smart enough to know his mom will kill him if she sees him this drunk. He’s smart enough to plop himself on a couch and not impose himself on a bed.

But will he ever be smart enough to recognize Ow as the cat who belongs to the girl of his dreams?
