I owe much of my career to boredom and frustration. This is because when I was bored and frustrated, I drew pictures. I filled sketchbook after sketchbook when I was bored, and I generally filled them with pictures of what I was frustrated that I wasn’t doing. So I drew a lot of pictures of outdoor sports.
And still, apparently, do from time to time. Not that I’m anywhere near bored. And it’s not like I don’t get outside. I just don’t get out there enough. Because, well, you really can’t. Or at least not too much.
