Ours was down (again) a couple days ago after some severe lightening storms took down a tree .. which took down some large power wires. Power for some was out for 15 hours. My GenerAC kicked in within 10 seconds, so life went on as usual at my house. As the old BSA used to say, ‘Be Prepared’.

We’re fortunate: we’re on the same grid as a hospital. We NEVER go out!

Is Jim Davis Canadian? Nobody in the states says “The power grid is down”, we just say “The power’s out.” It’s even called a power outage.

I’m with Garfield on this one you guys have a power grid i’ve read all the comics and haven’t seen it once (or I just have awful eyesight.)

Oh No ! No Power for awhile,We’re All Gonna Die ! No TV,No A/C,No Computers,No Way to Charge Your Smart Phones unless you have a Battery /Solar Charger,No Social Media,Etc. How Will We Know What To Do without Social Media and Technology to Tell Us What to Do ?!?!?! It’s The End !!! Just Give Up !!! I Think I’ll just Set Back,Relax,set out some Sun Tea,and Fire Up My Grill to get some Ribs out of the freezer now and leave it alone to stay cold ( Maybe take some of the solid frozen food out ,bring out some ice chests,then put Refrigerator Perishables into them along with some of the solid Frozen Foods, leave them Shut,put any extra Perishables into the freezer utilizing the now available space,leave it Shut Too and get some BBQ going,Can’t Waste this Opportunity to Enjoy Life. Why Worry Be Happy and " Make Some Lemonade out of the Lemons We Have Been Given." AHHH ! Peace and Quiet !
