My rescue dog Aspen had been a street dog. I couldn’t let him off the leash because he would always head for the street. Then he would sit down on the centerline and smile at me. I would have to go get him. Now that he is older and has many health problems, he won’t go into the street.

Gotta love Europe for it’s pedestrian walkways (usually cobblestone). Some of those medieval streets are too narrow for cars. Thank God.
