I must wonder about something. Sure the thing’s defective, but is it worth the time and most importantly the gas money to drive back to the store and exchange it-especially in light of what you paid for it?
Our local Dollarama is anal. Defective? Too bad. I picked up a handful of zip-bags and got one wrong one. They refused to void the transaction and told me I had to buy it. The cashier had the $5 bill in her hand, so I reached over and took it back. She accused me of stealing so I pointed at the door and said it is theft once I go outside. Do you want my badge number? and we can tie up your till for the next hour?
I almost never return things, unless there’s a blatant error in description or a major fault in the product. Otherwise I blame myself for not shopping wisely enough.

Whether dollar stores or regular stores, the employees really need to check their merchandise when unloaded from the delivery trucks.

Well, if your day revolves around going to the dollar store every day or two, then returns are pretty easy.

Well at least she came back the next day for an exchange . Some folks bring stuff back months later and still expect an exchange !

If it’s not fit for the purpose intended, they have to either refund or exchange.

You can only get an exchange or store credit at the $1.00 store here.

The last time I bought anything at Walmart (and I mean, last time), it was a GPS that turned out to be for Japan, not the USA.
