Here in Georgia, much of our Summer Break is over. School has already started in many counties.
When are you going to start working on that car?

I think papi meant *house*work. Do them chores, boy!
Did anyone really have summer reading as a thing that would be tested on? I think that’s a comic strip trope. I mean, what you would do about transfer students?
Sadly, some schools now assign Summer Vacation Homework.
