Actually, comic artists are extremely talented, and as a rule they are quite good at fine arts. It’s much harder to draw comics than people think.

Teaching moment! You need to expose the little… angel… to the full scope of art, in all its glory – photography, scupture, dance, abstract, impressionist, cubist, etc, etc, etc. Including comics!

I spent 2 years trying to figure out if my scuptures were actually art. I’m still not sure.
