I’m of partial Pennsylvania Deutsch heritage and — as far as I know — never had a slice of that dessert.

I never get enough of that wonderful stuff.

just seeing the look on Lio’s face!

One time I made a loaf of banana bread, put raisins and chocolate chips in it (because of their size and color), topped it with little frosting shoes and flies, took it to work and offered it as “Shoe Fly bread”.

Strange that the knife switched hands as well as position within the hand.

Oh, Lio, you are such a card! At least traumatized Dad has that knife to defend himself from the jack-in-the-box fly! —If he comes out of shock….
