If I can’t have sprinkles (or jimmies – I learned both), I’m not having it. To me, ice cream is just a reason to have a bowl full of jimmies. 1/3 of a bowl of jimmies on the bottom; a bit of ice cream in the middle 1/3 and the other 1/3 (or more) filled with sprinkles on top.
