    Actual summit on Everest is large enough for 6 climbers at the most, with a plunge of thousands of feet on two sides!!

    Another summit that is no longer worth climbing, you can join the guided hike. Just a little more and they build stairs on it.

    Most peaks, if all you see is down, you’re there. The highest point in Missouri is a marker out in the middle of a field that says “Here it is!… No, really, this is it!”

    The last time I was in Austin, I climbed to the summit of Mount Bonnell (Actually, I climbed the stairs to the top). :-)

    Which is why many western state residents (Colorado, Wyoming, Utah…) refuse to go to the mountains anymore. Too many flatlanders moving there.
