Actual summit on Everest is large enough for 6 climbers at the most, with a plunge of thousands of feet on two sides!!
Wasn’t it said that “it’s lonely at the top”?
Another summit that is no longer worth climbing, you can join the guided hike. Just a little more and they build stairs on it.
They’re standing on corpses five or six deep.
Guys, are we doing this FIFO or LIFO?
Most peaks, if all you see is down, you’re there. The highest point in Missouri is a marker out in the middle of a field that says “Here it is!… No, really, this is it!”
Why!
Ok people! We need volunteers to start their decent….anybody?
The last time I was in Austin, I climbed to the summit of Mount Bonnell (Actually, I climbed the stairs to the top). :-)
And these are the Sherpas.
Better than “standing on him…” (not funny, meant to agree that there is a problem with overcrowding up there!)
Which is why many western state residents (Colorado, Wyoming, Utah…) refuse to go to the mountains anymore. Too many flatlanders moving there.
