Speaking of tourists … The Monterey Bay Aquarium has this cool donut-shaped tank that sits atop a round room, and the tank is filled with schooling fish (sardines, maybe?) that go round … and round … and round. It’s kind of hypnotic … I must’ve spent 15 minutes in that room.
You haven’t lived until you’ve lived in a tourist destination. Highway 101 along the Oregon coast, for instance, becomes approximately impossible to actually use when the RVs are meandering along at sight-seeing speed… and even coming to an abrupt halt without getting off the road. (101 is impossible to avoid if you do need to move north or south.)
There really is a love – hate relationship between tourism business and tourists.

It’s remarkable they don’t swim in the opposite direction yet.

You can always tell who the tourists are….they look up…in this case, looking for a hook….

Just like driving! The tourist don’t know where they’re going and drive slow in the inside lanes.

Once when I was a tourist (diving) this happened to me. Seemed rather magical at the time.

Actually, after seeing shark week, that’s not a good idea to be traveling with a swarm of fish.
