There’s a song in there somewhere…
Really nice drawings, but to my expirience a dog wakes up after anyone in the house woke up. So he hardly could enjoy the first sunshine strokes.
Back when I had dogs I remember at 5am one morning, hearing the sound of a ball being chased and the thundering of eight paws. My first thought was, “oh God, they’ve got the toys out”. And they had. Perhaps they’d also watched the sun rise.

Someone else in particular must live nearby.
In my experience, dogs will indeed get up early, because they can then go back to bed anytime they like and sleep until noon! :-D
