Trust me, you do. Times two.

Our first daughter was planned. Our second one wasn’t. My wife said that if the second one had been the first one, there wouldn’t have been a second one.

Contrary to what the current propaganda says, every child is different. Boys and girls are remarkably different.

Don’t count your eggs before they’re hatched.

The job of the first child is to teach you to be a parent.The job of the second child is to make sure you understand everything you learned was wrong.

“A one kid”?

What about when you have more. We discovered that 2 kids are like having 2, but 3 kids is like 12

I used to tell people with one kid “You should have another, and find out what being a parent is all about.”

You kinda start to get the hang of parenting by the 3rd one. Practice, Practice.

My daughter got the first and second child at once: she had twins.

It’s the odd numbered kids that throw you off kilter!

With some people, I am quite surprised that someone spent that type of “quality time” with them, to procreate – and certainly more than once.

As an Amish character on a Barney Miller episode once put it, “I have fourteen children.”
