Last time I was at ComiCon was in 2001, right before Hollywood discovered it. But, every year I went, I made sure I ha the week off after it ended. Still wasn’t quite enough.
Just wondering if I missed the comment. Rutger Hauer died on July 19th. I just found out about it yesterday. It seems surprising nobody has mentioned it.

This is a truth … I always return from my trips with at least 48 hours of recovery time built into my vacation.
The alternative (going to work jet-lagged or road-weary) is theft of the company resources, IMHO.
That’s a lie, of course. I am seldom humble.
