No, she needed you to help convince the cat to leave. Otherwise, we all know that cat wouldn’t have budged, not for Sophie.

The playing field has been made equal now with the addition of Annie. The cats are going to (and will) come up with some new strategies. Some may work, some may not. Can’t wait to see!

Ousting the intruder from your bed works better when you bring the muscle.

At one time a friend and I were looking for a place to rent together. He got a lead on a place and the landlord told him that all we had to do was inform the guy he hired to make repairs that he was renting the place to us as soon as he finished the work. My friend was about 5’ 9" 150 pounds and I was 6’ 4" 250 pounds, when we arrived at the place my friend stood on the top step to knock on the door, I was a step below him but still taller than him. When the maintenance man opened the door I could see several people sitting around the living room and the maintenance man wasn’t dressed for work, but for a night in. My friend delivered the message from the owner, but the guy in the door never took his eyes off me (I’m actually a pacifist, my friend was a scrapper) as he said, “I know my rights, we made a deal, if the owner wants me out he’ll have to take me to court.” Later we learned that the owner had hired the guy to make repairs in the house and agreed to let him live there for free while he was making the extensive repairs. The guy had moved in with his family and then took his time doing the repairs since the agreement didn’t give him a time limit on when the work was suppose to be done. Once we realized that the owner had used us we decided we didn’t want to get in the middle of things and told the owner never mind.
