We live part way up a mountain. During the shortest couple of months, the sun “sets” on the east side, at about 1:45. Oh, it’s still light until 4:30, 5:00, but it’s the feeling of not seeing the sun. Or something. The sun is over the mountain top now, and things are feeling better.

Fishing starts here when the temperature gets about 50, which might happen a few times in February, certainly in March.
