I would move to Freedonia, the only Marxian society worth living in.

Whatever country the hollywood elites threaten to move to would be a safe bet…of not seeing one of the hollywood elites carry through on their threat/promise.

Uh, nobody’s taking Americans anymore. Everybody else thinks we’re all nuts. Some days, I can’t blame ’em. . .

Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high, there’s a land that I’ve heard of once in a lullaby.

How much better off would the USA be today if all of those who made that threat in 2016 had kept their promise?

In 1987 several of my aunts and uncles and a few of us older grandkids purchased my grand parents summer “cabin” from them to avoid inheritance taxes. Over the years I bought them out, razed the cabin to the ground, even below ground, and built something new. Since then it has been remodeled and renovated and by 2009 it was ready for year round habitation. I studied for my Canadian license and passed the exam. We waited for the girls to go off to college and finally moved. Politics had nothing to do with that. Jeff was a conservative, but he would not have done this cartoon. You dishonour his memory.

    It’s “. . . were being held,” not “. . . was being held.” Basic subjunctive
