That should read also. I also hate all other kinds of fruit, except cantelope and tomatoes. But it applie double for oranges I can’t even stand the smell of somone peeling an orange.
You know those Poppables you get at the store? The sea salt ones? I put one in the brewing basket every time I make a pot of coffee. Makes a big difference in taste, without becoming too salty.
I used to do the same until the day I realized the amount of sugar I piled on the thing, I might as well just grab a donut instead. So I did. Donuts are amazing.
I learned from an old timer in Florida that the stem end of the red grapefruit is not as sweet as the bottom end. Something about the sugars settling in the bottom when growing. He always gave his wife the top half since she always added sugar. This seems to be true
To each his own, but glad to see so many people here defending the pleasures of eating unadulterated grapefruit. As for Brutus, if you have to load it with that much sugar to make it palatable, you’re an idiot for eating it.
The whole point of grapefruit is that it erases morning mouse breath, but that only takes one or two sections, so one grapefruit lasts me more than a week.

My mom used to put salt on grapefruit. She claimed that it tasted sweeter.

I love grapefruit without sugar or salt. I all so love unsweetened grapefruit juice. I can’t stand any other kind of juice – especially orange juice.

Grapefruit interacts negatively with certain prescription medications. I never eat it.

No matter what I put on it, it still doesn’t taste like grapes. Haven’t tried grape jelly on it yet though.
