In the last panel, it looks like some kind of alien being fell from the sky and landed head first into the pitcher. Maybe he’s going to tell Mutt where to find the hardest water.
Heavy water contains the deuterium or tritium isotopes of hydrogen. Hard water has dissolved calcium or magnesium in it.
