“The Usual Gang of Idiots”
He’s not going to finish that in one sitting.
I’ve always found humourless books rather hard to digest….
When they said you should digest a good book, I don’t think that’s what they meant.
How about a little Reader Digest for desert?
Or how about a little Jungle Book for rain forest? Little House on the Prairie for prairie? Nanook of the North for arctic?
How about Of Mice And Men. Or, The Mouse That Roared.
“Oh, waiter! Can I get a side of superior smugness?”
Good morning Crew!
“Let’s see, what have I got here? ‘The History of Glue’. Wow, I can’t put it down!”
W&P is a lot thicker than that.
ha ha – exposing the hypocrisy of faux intellectuals!
OK, I didn’t get the superior sounding huh. I’m a little slow today. :~(
That must be a “Reader’s Digest” condensed version of “War and Peace.”
I’m always excited to find a new good book, or one I’ve enjoyed before. Not so much for chewing the pages, but still.
’Evening, Crew.
The Simarillion was really hard to follow. I couldn’t keep it down
Desecrate a Mad magazine. Oh, for shame.
