Well, Flo did study under the master. Andy must have something wrong with him today if he’s answering the door when Flo is home.

Hoping it was Publisher’s Clearing House.

He was hoping it was Flo’s loving Mum we were finally going to see.

Clark that was a bargain, assuming it worked. How often do you vacuum in front of guests? Don’t tell them you passed on a great deal.

I remember an old strip where Flo asks Andy to deal with the salesman. The Man gets about 3-4 words out before Andy slams the door in his face. Flo says “Thanks pet. You’re much better at dealing with them than I am.” To which Andy replies “Your problem is you can’t resist talking back.”

Amazing how different the strip is now. It’s still good, but not quite the same.

Hey I’m surprised Andy got off to answer the door. He usually tells Flo to answer the door while he lays on the couch.

Apparently the Capps must have purchased a “Marvo” vacuum cleaner in the past.

Perhaps Flo was “indisposed” when the knock or bell came, or maybe Andy was expecting Chalkie.

Tough to sell vacuums by phone: “Okay, now pour some dirt on your floor, and then hold the phone handset down near it. There, isn’t that suction power remarkable? Nothing left! Bet that’s better than your old vacuum!”

What’s that?? You don’t have any electricity??? Uh oh…..
