. . . our cats feel the same way! They have “stealthy” down pat! Unfortunately, one of ours, tends to get lost in corners and will cry until my husband calls her name! That silly cat is SO grateful that he ‘SAVED’ her, again! lol! :)
I am asking for prayers, boops, hugs, and GOOD thoughts for Tuesday, 6 August.
I’m having surgery to fix a broken wire in my heart to attach to a new ICD being re-installed.
This new ICD has an extra wire, so the doc will try to detach and cap the busted wire, and wiggle two new ones into the heart…attach into the heart, then the other end will be attached to a new ICD.
Of the two wires, one replaces the bad one, and a new one “plugs in” to a new part of the heart.
I should be OK, but there’s always a danger with ANY time you have surgery.
I’m asking now because I’m not sure if I will have time to tomorrow.
My only real worry is the doc trying to stuff two more wires down a blood vessel that already has two wires in it.
If it doesn’t fit in well…it COULD rupture the vessel. They do not want to remove the broken wire b/c heart tissue grows over the end, so removal requires open heart surgery (which I don’t want unless it’s unavoidable!)
Brings back memories of my Mozart … large suspicious lump under the throw rug? – Mozie; suspicious ginger and white lump squished against the stair riser? – Mozie He could play the “I’m invisible” game all night even when the other cats would sit and stare at him :)

I’ll be MIA for a day or two. YIKES!
I’ll write when I’m OK again.

Fargo continues to send out love no matter what he does, hence the little hearts.
